FHprofUnt 2013: Fluent Interaction on Mobile Devices using hybrid 3D-Cloud-Rendering-Services (Flin)
Browsing photos on your own mobile phone or tablet is easy. Designing a new kitchen or a new office building with office furniture is still difficult although new and excellent opportunities for interaction with touch and gestures are on market. Either because the computing power is not sufficient to present complex 3D models or due to datasets are too large for transmission over mobile networks. Flin demonstrates new solutions showing best practice examples taken from furniture and construction industry. This project ist funded by BMBF from 09/2013 to 08/2015. kARbon - kollaborative AR-Werkzeuge für die Bauorganisation
kARbon is a web-based mixed reality (MR) collaboration tool for a wide range of construction planning and supervising scenarios. It shows how the construction process can be supported for locally distributed workers, experts and decision makers by leveraging MR methods in combination with eﬀective and pure web-based collaboration, interaction and presentation concepts. This project was funded by state of Hessia.
I-Search - A unified framework for multimodal content search
The I-SEARCH project aims to provide a novel unified framework for multimodal content indexing, sharing, search and retrieval. The I-SEARCH framework will be able to handle specific types of multimedia and multimodal content (text, 2D image, sketch, video, 3D objects and audio) alongside with real world information, which can be used as queries and retrieve any available relevant content of any of the aforementioned types. PoP-EYE - Entwicklung von Methoden und Werkzeugen zur virtuellen Produktpräsentation in 3D Community Photo Collections
The purpose of PoP-EYE is a simple and photo realistic embedding of planning data and virtual producs into spatially arranged 3D Community Photo Collections (CPC). For this purpose technologies of the collaborative 3D reconstruction on the basis of the picture worlds and Augmented Reality (AR) are used. This procect was funded by BMBF.
