Innovative technologies like the internet are transforming the way business is done in all areas of commerce, industry and services and are generating totally new products, distribution channels and business processes. Taken together, these developments are called Electronic Business. Experts agree that Electronic Business will expand exponentially in the years ahead.

The international Master of Science course in Electronic Business offered by Fulda University of Applied Sciences seeks to prepare university graduates for careers as specialists in Electronic Business to conceive, design, implement and operate systems for the management and optimisation of business processes in banking, commerce, manufacturing and services.

Graduates are qualified for further postgraduate studies, in particular PhD programmes.

The course sets special emphasize on project work and teams with international participants and focuses on the development of Electronic Business systems, online marketing, information security, strategic management, consulting, business process modelling, enterprise recourse planning systems, human computer interaction and programming projects.

• A first or undergraduate degree in computer science from a recognised institution of higher education. In exceptional cases also a degree from a related discipline will be accepted, if the course includes sufficient lectures of modern programming languages, data base design, software engineering, etc.
• Degrees from acknowledged institutions outside Germany must be at least equivalent to a British Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree with honours with a duration of 4 years.
• Certification of good proficiency in English
