German language courses:
14 to 20 hours per week, depending on level

• Basic course (previous instruction: under 400 hours): 20 hours
• DSH Course (previous instruction: 500 or more hours): 20 hours
  Course beginning: 8 March 2010
• C1 level (for students with DSH 1 or almost-passed DSH exam): 14 hours

Academic preparatory courses:
6 to 12 hours per week, depending on language level

Scientific and scholarly methods of academic work:
2 hours per week

• An introduction to the methods and techniques of academic work
  (e.g. footnoting and bibliography, presentations, plagiarism)
• Computer courses

Living and studying in Germany:
2 hours per week

• Intercultural training
• Introduction to the higher education system in Germany
• Visas, work permits, health insurance and other information of importance to international students
