Research Assistant for a granted BMBF Project (SecMONET):

  • Research, Analysis, Design, Development and Evaluation of a new Real-Time Platform (SecMonet).
  • Keywords: Data-Mining, Machine Learning techniques, Anomaly-based intrusion detection Systems, Clustering algorithms, Feature Selection and Extraction, Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy logic, Network analysis and administration.  

 Related tasks to SecMonet Project are: Supervision, coordination of Students activities (Students Job, Bachelor Thesis and Master Thesis)

Short Biography

Maher Salem received his M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. He has worked for more than six years as a System and Network Engineer by Nokia R&D Networking, E-Plus Group and others. He has an Oracle Training Certificate, Microsoft Enterprise Server 2008 Participation Certificate. He is a member in IEEE.
